Realtime Audiovisual Performance | HD Live Video Output, Pigments, Water, Oil, Plastic Container | 2023
Aqua Mirage is a 5-minute realtime audio-visual performance that imagines a surreal underwater world, blending elements of light, sound, visual effects, and physical manipulation of materials to create an illusionary oceanic atmosphere. Two cameras are set up to capture the realtime videos of pigment diffusion and reaction of effervescent tablets in oil-water mixture, which are manipulated in MaxMSP and synchronized with music. The audio is composed using LogicPro and imported to mix realtime in MaxMSP.
